Persistent weak layer (slab avalanches)

You can very easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1) Remote triggering is possible.

Det er lite snø i regionen. Det er bart ved havnivå og det varierar kor høgt du må for å finne samanhengande snø. Generelt er det frå ca. 200 - 300 moh, men det er framleis tynt snødekke og oppstikkande stein høgare til fjells.
I lavtliggande områder er snøen hard, men mot høgda er det opptil 10-15 cm laus kantkorna snø i overflata og det kan ha kome noko nysnø onsdag og torsdag. Det er også rim, både på bakken og snøoverflata, og krystallane er størst i dalbotnane.
